THE REGALIA SPECIALIST offers a fine selection of military regalia for collector’s, enthusiasts and re-enactors, either current issue as worn today by the soldiers serving in the Armies of the World, or rare discontinued items worn in times past.

With some items, where genuine issue items are unobtainable for reasons of extreme scarcity, superb full size Museum Quality replicas, which are virtually indistinguishable from the genuine articles are offered . In these instances the original dies and tools, from which the genuine articles were crafted, are often used.
As a rough guide, all items that are current or of recent issue are genuine issue pieces. A number of the older items are also genuine issue pieces with the exception of some of more scarce British pieces, for example the VC and Air Crew Europe Star. All the items in the Third Reich sections of both the MAIN CATALOGUE and SPECIAL ITEMS NEWSLETTER are sold as reproductions including the 'Original Quality' items- please refer to the seperate note below concerning these items.

Because of the large number of copies of Third Reich items on the market none of the Third Reich items offered by THE REGALIA SPECIALIST are sold as original WWII manufactured items.
The items listed in the Third Reich section of both the MAIN CATALOGUE and SPECIALS ITEMS NEWSLETTER are all superb quality pieces. In many cases they are manufactured using original tools, dies and employing 'old time' manufacturing techniques in order to achieve complete accuracy and thus the best quality items currently available.
A number of the Third Reich items are of really quite exceptional quality. They conform exactly to original specifications and usually include some minor tarnishing or wear and tear. Despite having the appearance of being original, in the absence of full provenance it is unreasonable to list these items as genuine Third Reich issue and they are thus described as 'original quality' or are listed in the SPECIAL ITEMS NEWSLETTER.
What our clients do not receive with any ‘original quality’ piece is a guarantee of original WWII manufacture but what they do receive is a beautiful piece usually offered for a fraction of the price a similar or identical item accompanied with such a guarantee might be offered for elsewhere. All too often thes ‘guarantees’ prove to be worthless in any case.
